Notes
This blend of Cabernet Franc and Vidal Blanc was produced from grapes
grown during the incredible 2001 vintage. A long, dry summer evolved
into a long, dry autumn that is ideal for harvest. Due to the phenomenal
weather conditions, the grapes were picked according to their optimum
levels of Brix and pH, not when Mother Nature required, which is so
often the case.
Cellar
Notes
This Blush is the result of a harmonious blend between Cabernet
Franc and Late Harvest Vidal Blanc. The Cabernet Franc brings structure
and color to the wine, while the concentrated Vidal Blanc adds to
the sweet and colorful nose and palate. The grassy nose and strawberry
finish give the wine a nice balance of fruit and sweetness.
