Jeff received his B.S. in Business, Economics and Sociology from the University of Richmond in 1987. In the same year at age 21, he founded Miller Financial Services under Northwestern Mutual. Since then he has received his Accredited Estate Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. Jeff has a national planning practice that specializes in holistic financial planning and investment management for individuals and small businesses. His investment management business ranks in the top 10 nationally of more than 8,000 advisors. Jeff is on the board of CKG Foundation and has held past board seats on the St. Catherine’s School Foundation Board, The Richmond Symphony and The American Red Cross. He is a current member of the University of Richmond Estate Advisory Council, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Charitable Advisors and the Richmond Estate Planning Council. Jeff is married to Mel, a Sommelier, and he has two daughters, Taylor and Maddie. As to wine, Jeff’s prefers red over white and thinks Rosé should be enjoyed all year long! His favorite red is Petit Verdot, but in whites he loves Viognier, the Virginia state grape.
